The Nigeria Trade Information Portal is an initiative led by the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, in coordination with the National Trade Facilitation Committee.
The Trade Portal complies with Article 1.2 of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement . It provides a step-by-step description of import and export procedures in Nigeria.
The Trade Portal provides also the opportunity to send online requests to the officers in charge. A response is usually given within 48 hours.
The Trade Portal enhances the transparency of procedures, facilitates simplification by identifying unnecessary steps and obligations, and becomes an indispensable tool for public-private dialogue.
