National Association of Commerce Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA)
The National Association of Commerce Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) seeks to create a conducive atmosphere for the pursuit of commerce, industry and all other forms of economic activities of interest to the private sector. It serves as a conduit for providing information, promotion, and development on business matters, acting as an interface between business owners and the federal government.
Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC)
TThe Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is a Nigeria’s primary agency to promote the development and diversification of Nigeria's export trade. It does so by promoting the development of export-related industries through active support of favorable policies and programmes at the federal level, and training and technical assistance to developing businesses.
Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (NEPZA)
The Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority (NEPZA) is the federal agency responsible for promoting and facilitating local and international investments into the 34 licenced Free Export Processing Zones (EPZ) in Nigeria. It administers EPZs, ensuring the establishment of customs, police, immigration, and all necessary legal posts. It works to streamline processes for businesses, and serves as a dispute-resolution mechanism in the case of conflict.
Nigerian Export Import Bank (NEXIM)
The Nigerian Export-Import Bank (NEXIM) was established by Act 38 of 1991 as an Export Credit Agency (ECA) with a share capital of N50, 000,000,000 (Fifty Billion Naira) held equally by the Federal Ministry of Finance Incorporated and the Central Bank of Nigeria. The Bank replaced the Nigerian Export Credit
Guarantee & Insurance Corporation, earlier set up under Act 15 of 1988, has the following main statutory functions: –
- Provision of export credit guarantee and export credit insurance facilities to its clients.
- Provision of credit in local currency to its clients in support of exports.
- Establishment and management of funds connected with exports.
- Maintenance of a foreign exchange revolving fund for lending to exporters who need to import foreign inputs to facilitate export production.
Provision of domestic credit insurance where such a facility is likely to assist exports.
Maintenance of a trade information system in support of export business.
The Bank presently provides short and medium-term loans to Nigerian exporters. It also provides short-term guarantees for loans granted by Nigerian Banks to exporters, as well as credit insurance against political and commercial risks in the event of non-payment by foreign buyers. The Bank is also the government’s National Guarantor under the ECOWAS Inter-state Road Transit programme.
Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA)
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) is Nigeria’s federal organization dedicated to safe, secure, efficient, and innovative use of Nigeria’s ports and harbors. The NPA is responsible for maintenance and security of shared areas, implementation and enforcement of port regulations and byelaws, and day to day management of operations. The NPA manages the leasing of activities such as cargo handling, warehousing, and delivery.
Nigeria Shippers Council

The Nigeria Shippers’ Council is to protect and further the interests of shippers importing to and exporting from Nigeria. It is a platform for improving shipping services, monitoring and regulating private and public shipping interventions, and resolving disputes when necessary in consultation with the Nigerian Ports Authority.
Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON)
The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) is the national organisation responsible for establishment and diffusion of standards relating to products, measurements, materials and processes, and their promotion at national, regional and international levels. It certifies products in commerce and industry, and oversees quality control at points of sales, import, and export.

The NTH further provides contact details of organisation linked with trade in Nigeria.
